Grill Server/Grill Bartender

The Grill Server/Grill Bartender is responsible for providing positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome and comfortable. The Grill Server/Bartender shall have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu including specialty items and menu deviations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 6 months bartending experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to cross train positions and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have knowledge of General Spirits, beer and wine.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
  • Willing to participate in ongoing training and learning of new products.

 

Requirements

 General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an exceptional, professional dining experience delivering items, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages, and anticipating guests needs.
  • Accountable for all cash handling procedures including collecting payments and balancing receipts.
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by manager.
  • Follow all Fox Hills alcohol awareness through training standards per the State of Michigan laws and regulations.
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure knowledge of event in its entirety.
  • Fulfilling all opening, closing, daily side work and any other assigned tasks that set up the shift for success and your teammates.
  • Assisting with special events as needed.
  • Checks in with manager daily for any changes as well as checks out at the end of the shift.
  • Adhere to sanitation and food handling procedures.
